Corporate Architecture in the Logistics Industry \u2013 Feasibility Study for a Logistics Park<\/h1>\n

A company is relying on new identity-creating brand architecture for a logistics site in sustainable timber construction. <\/span><\/strong><\/h4>\n

\"\"Hamburg (02.11.2022\/09:20) – A feasibility study for an internationally operating logistics company was prepared as part of the project planning phase for corporate architecture in a logistics industrial building. A cantilevered light-flooded hall, constructed from a timber structure and timber\/sandwich modules, is planned to become the new location in a logistics park directly on the highway.<\/p>\n

Sustainability – not only in the choice of materials<\/strong><\/h4>\n

An intensive preliminary investigation with an extensive workshop phase and brand identity analysis, as well as various area studies, formed the basis of the first project planning and feasibility phase. The result was an identity architecture concept. From the beginning, the company’s goal was to create a new sense of unity with the help of a new corporate architecture and to transfer the spirit and culture of the brand to all employees and visitors, both internally and externally, in order to be clearly positioned for the future.<\/p>\n

By using wood as a material – both in the construction and for the majority of the facade – as well as a high degree of modular prefabrication (the hall architecture is designed from four basic grid modules), a sustainable overall concept was established from the outset. The electricity required to supply the logistics area and the charging points is generated entirely from solar energy via PV modules on the hall roof.<\/p>\n

Perspective planning of the industrial area \u2013 extensive offers for employees, customers, and visitors<\/strong><\/h4>\n

\"\"A 2,400 m2 column-free industrial hall with dimensions of 25x95m is being built on the 25,000 m2 plot. A further 3,000 m2 will serve as an expansion area in a second expansion phase. There is space for 1,500 m2 of PV modules on the hall’s three-part pitched roof.<\/p>\n

Generous planning was also made for the total of 45 employees and visitors. On a total area of 1,200 m2, there are recreational offers with sports and leisure activities, a canteen, as well as outdoor areas in the greenery by the lake.<\/p>\n

The site has space for 75 truck parking spaces and 65x car parking spaces, including 25x e-charging points – designed as a charging hub.<\/p>\n
