Justus Asselmeyer, born in Göttingen in 1981, studied architecture at the TU Braunschweig to become a graduate architect. Early on, he focused on architectural design in the field of brand architecture, corporate architecture and industrial construction.
That is why he already worked in 2007/08 in the New York architectural firm WXY architecture + urban design. He subsequently completed his diploma with Prof. Carsten Roth at the Technical University of Braunschweig with distinction and several prizes. Prof. Roth brought Justus Asselmeyer to his Hamburg office directly after graduation, where he worked as project manager architect until 2013.
In the same year, he moved to the Hamburg agency NEST ONE, focusing on brand experience architecture. Justus Asselmeyer worked here until 2021, was responsible for consulting and project management and was part of the agency’s management board.
After more than 15 years of national and international experience in architectural brand management and the realization of large construction projects, Justus Asselmeyer founded the office ASSELMEYER ARCHITEKT GmbH in May 2021 in Hamburg. The focus of the office is corporate architecture – the conception, planning and implementation of structural identity architecture and brand projects with the aim of giving architecture an identity, making it tangible and generating added values such as personality, emotion, belonging, functionality and user orientation.
Justus Asselmeyer has been a member of the Hamburg Chamber of Architects (akhh) since 2012.
